The Montana Parole Board on Monday recommended that Governor Brian Schweitzer (D) deny clemency to convicted murderer Ronald Allen Smith.

Helena teen Kaashawn Uncles was found guilty last week after a second jury trial of sexual assault of a 3-year old girl.
The original trial held last June resulted in a hung jury.
Uncles, 17, was accused of the molestation when he was 14.

After pleading guilty last week to a deadly December rollover, Brandy Dullum was back in a Helena courtroom on Thursday today for a separate incident.

A Helena teenager is being tried once again for an alleged sexual assault of a 3-year-old from a case in 2010.
The first trial, in June 2011, was declared a mistrial after a jury could not reach a unanimous verdict.
